WHO IS DEBORAH
Award Winning Songwriter & Artist Deborah Haynes Carolina was created to blaze trails and disrupt systems. God gave Deborah a vision to start her own personal music ministry called The Fountain which has now developed into her nonprofit entitled: The Fountain Project. The Fountain is an annual event that is based on John 4:14… “but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” The Fountain was the breeding ground where Deborah created her #1 single “I Am” in spontaneous worship. This single has since been re-released with James Fortune and topped the billboard charts at #1 for 10 consecutive weeks.
Deborah Haynes Carolina is a young woman destined and determined to change the world through her worship. While saying yes to God, he has stretched her immensely, her initial yes was given when she was eight years old. Since then, God has elevated Deborah’s ministry in a major way. Deborah has been privileged to share the stage with some of gospel's greatest artists such as, James Fortune, JJ Hairston, Maranda Curtis, and the legendary Ms. Kim Burrell. On September 25th, 2021 Deborah took a leap of faith and did her 1st live recording called “The Fountain” that has impacted her whole community, which was produced by Bart Orr and Pudge Tribbett.
As a young woman within the industry, born on September 16th to her parents Carlos and Belinda Haynes, she has prioritized what matters the most. Her love for God and assignment to the Earth drives her focus, in addition to the love that she has for her family. Deborah is the daughter to two parents she loves and respects dearly, the second oldest child amongst her siblings with two loving nephews and she is the loving wife and proud mother to Derrell Carolina Sr. and Derrell Carolina Jr. Deborah also cherishes her Grandma who instilled the values of Jesus Christ and essence of having a personal relationship with Christ.
Even with all the accolades this has garnished her, Deborah’s main focus has never been about winning awards. Her heart’s posture when she ministers is to SAVE THE SOULS of the unbeliever and REFRESH and RENEW the hearts of those who do believe
